Lynn painting at her easel at home.

A San Francisco native, Lynn moved to Portland in 1980 to attend Portland State University where she earned an MBA. Lynn continued her career in Portland, and after retiring from 40 plus years in finance and professional investment management, she began oil painting.

Lynn possessed a strong desire to learn how to paint with oils, some day, after she retired. So when the time to retire finally arrived, a good friend bought Lynn some brushes and oils. As the saying goes, the rest is history. She and her husband and their dogs moved to Sisters, Oregon in 2020 to enjoy their retirement in the beautiful mountain town with plenty of inspirational scenes to paint.

Juried and open shows throughout Oregon have featured Lynn's paintings. She juried into the prestigious Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts many years, and has won multiple awards, including at the Oregon Lavender Festival, and Black Butte Ranch plein air competitions. Her artwork can also be viewed at the Sisters Gallery and Frame Shop.
